Keep Ants Out in 2016

Recent weather trends in some areas of the Southeast have caused some unusual pest problems, especially with ants. The excessive amout of rain in many areas has led to an increased ant population — and with an increase in population, it’s only a matter of time before they try to make their way indoors.

In the video below, the experts at Arrow Exterminators share some prevention tips to help keep these pests outside where they belong:

  • Make sure all windows have screens that are free of holes or tears.
  • Wipe down countertops after use and make sure they’re crumb free.
  • Keep food in sealed, air-tight containers.
  • Seal cracks and crevices around entry points for wiring and pipes.

At the first sign of ants taking over your home, be sure to call and request a whole home evaluation from a pest professional right away!
